Langara College’s Centre for Entertainment Arts is pleased to present part two of an evening with Jan Philip Cramer, Head of Animation at Digital Domain, for a look into the creation of Thanos for Avengers: Endgame.
Part 2: August 13
Focuses on Avengers: Endgame to continue Thanos’ journey by explaining the double snap damage, the development of holograms, and detailed shot break downs with a focus on facial animation.
There is no cost to attend this event, but tickets are limited and are required for admission.
This event will start at 6:30 pm at the SFU Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at 149 West Hastings Street, Vancouver.
The Centre for Entertainment Arts is a brand new public-private partnership launching Advanced 3D Animation, Advanced Game Design, Advanced Visual Effects, and a Foundation in Entertainment Arts programs this fall. Located in a 38,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility on Great Northern Way in Vancouver, the CEA will give students world-class training and education for careers in animation, VFX, and gaming. The curriculum is focussed first and foremost on helping students master their craft and prepare them for careers as artists and designers.
